Have you recently moved to a new address, wish to add someone to your membership, or want to change the card we have on file? Feel free to let us know about any new changes to your membership either in-person with our Welcome Center or completely online below. Don’t know what we have on file for you? Access your Online Account, check in-person with our Welcome Center on your next visit, or give them a call at 808-242-9007.

Adding/Removing Active Members
See our Welcome Center upon your next visit or send an email to our Membership Director, Liccet, at [email protected] with this information: Name, Date of Birth, & Gender of member you wish to add or remove from your current membership.
- See who is currently on your membership via your Account page.
- Please Note: Your membership type will be adjusted to match your request which might result in billing changes. Check out our Membership types and their limitations via our Join page.
- IMPORTANT: This is not for cancelling or activating memberships. Please submit a cancellation request via the Membership Suspension section below or sign up for a new membership on our Join page, respectively.

- Please Note: If you wish to change to a CHECKING or SAVINGS ACCOUNT, please see the Welcome Center to submit your request in person. Don’t forget to bring a voided check with you to submit with your request.
Membership Suspension
We understand that there might be reasons where you will not use your membership for a certain length of time or you are headed on another path in life that no longer involves the YMCA. We want to let you know that we have a couple options to better cater to your specific situation. Whether if it is going off to college, heading to the mainland for vacation, moving to a new home, experiencing a medical emergency, or even ultimately joining another organization. The Maui Family YMCA provides the option to Freeze or Cancel your membership at absolutely no extra cost to you.

As we work to continue to serve you and the community of Maui, we have an urgent request for you: Please stay with us during this difficult time and keep your membership active.
By continuing your membership, you will allow us to maintain the financial resources needed to focus our time, people and energies to where our community needs it most.
Membership Costs Too High?
Financial Assistance is available, to the extent possible, through funds from the YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign and the Maui United Way.
Apply completely online by clicking the button below! Proof of income needed for uploading in order to submit application. Expect a processing time of 2-3 weeks until an award letter is sent to mailing address provided on application.
Membership Freeze
This option is best for those looking to take a break from the Y for various personal reasons but intend to come back at a later date. We will put your membership on a hold, suspending your monthly dues or extending your expiration date, from a minimum length of 2 months up to a maximum length of one full year. Membership Cancellation
This option is better suited for members who do not foresee returning back to the Y at a later date. We completely understand that life happens and you might need to completely leave the Y entirely. Please know that this does not mean we won’t ever see you again. You are welcome back to the Y at any time in the future.
